Our Team

McLennan & Company Ltd. was founded in 1995 by the principal, Bruce McLennan.  Bruce and his dedicated team believe in a personal approach and in providing quality service.  McLennan & Company is focused on helping people overcome their financial challenges so that they can go forward to a more positive future.

Our Firm philosophy is to try and look for restructuring opportunities, such as Proposals, whenever possible. 

Our Team at McLennan & Company Ltd. includes several estate managers with many years of experience, which is complemented by the fresh ideas of our newest members.   All of us understand our role is to be a good listener, to enable us to be a good advisor.

Bruce McLennan

Bruce started McLennan & Company Ltd. in 1995, having previously been a Vice-President at a national insolvency firm. 

Bruce has been helping people restructure their finances for over 20 years and is a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP), and is licensed as a Trustee in Bankruptcy, as well as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).  He is also a proud Western grad.

Bruce is active in the business community, including: committee work for the London & Area Insolvency Discussion Group, as a speaker at professional events, and as a past Director of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (OAIRP).

He also understands it takes a team to get things done, so please read on and meet the rest of our team.

Wendy Thomson

Wendy provides a wealth of experience to our Firm, firstly, as an experienced Estate Manager, to help people restart their lives when they are in financial difficulty.  She also provides support to our newer team members, including the areas of : consumer proposals, bankruptcy, income tax, and credit counselling.  Her 15 plus years of financial restructuring experience includes many years of helping individuals in her hometown of St. Thomas.  As a recent addition to our company two years ago, we are happy to have Wendy’s experience and know-how to assist our team in providing financial solutions in both our London and St. Thomas office.

Holly Stewart

Holly is one of our two Fanshawe grads, who brings positive energy to our office every day.  Holly likes helping people, and she has recently become a qualified Insolvency Counsellor to further her financial and people skills.  Holly also does a lot of the firm’s banking and other administrative work.  Holly frequently deals with clients on the phone to help them with their concerns and questions.  She is also the Captain and driving force behind our ‘not too famous’ company volleyball team.
