How to have a good summer holiday?

This is the time of year when families plan summer vacations. However, for a vacation to be enjoyable for everyone, it is important to properly budget for it, as September will bring extra costs with school starting.

Some practical ideas for enjoyable vacations that don’t cause debt problems, include:

-proper budgeting of funds well in advance;

-consider low cost, but enjoyable Ontario Provincial Parks, camping, etc.;

-take advantage of local facilities, including day camps, YMCA camps, public swimming pools and parks.

Remember, it’s what you do together as a family that is important and remembered.

Reminder: Income Tax Debts are unsecured creditors (except for liens on real estate) and are included in Consumer Proposals (i.e. legal debt settlements) and in Bankruptcies.
